Submit a copyright infringement notice
Email contact@spacegame.io with the subject line “DMCA / Copyright”. To help us review your complaint directly, please include all of the following:
- Your full name and contact details, including an email address where we can reach you.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you own or represent, or a link to its official source. If your notice covers multiple works, provide a representative list.
- The full URL of each page containing the material you believe infringes your copyright. Please identify the specific material on that page rather than linking only to our homepage.
- A brief explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized, with any supporting information about your rights.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature. Typing your full name at the end of the email is sufficient for an electronic signature.
How we respond
After receiving a complete notice, we review the reported pages and the information identifying your rights. We act promptly on valid notices by removing the reported content or assets, or disabling access to them, and reply with the outcome. Where applicable, we also notify the contributor or content partner affected by the removal.
If information is missing, we may ask you to supply it, which may delay our review. We reserve the right to reject clearly unfounded requests or requests that abuse the complaint process.
Counter-notifications
If you believe content was removed by mistake or misidentification, for example because you hold a valid license or the use qualifies as fair use, you may send a counter-notification to contact@spacegame.io. Please include the information listed below.
We forward a complete counter-notification, including your contact details, to the original complainant and handle any restoration in accordance with applicable law. Where the DMCA applies, we restore access between 10 and 14 business days after receiving a compliant counter-notification unless the complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the removed content and the full URL where it appeared before removal or access was disabled.
- An explanation of why the content does not infringe copyright, including any relevant license or other basis for lawful use.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which the service provider may be found. You must also agree to accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.
- Your physical or electronic signature, such as your full name typed at the end of the email.
Repeat infringement
We terminate content publishing privileges for contributors or partners who repeatedly receive valid copyright infringement complaints. We do not accept unauthorized copies of guides, cracked game assets, or pirated resources.
